Case Study

Mind Cymru: Sort the Switch

Insights from young people highlighted the transition between specialist child and adolescent mental health services (SCAMHS) to adult services (AMHS) as a priority campaigning issue. Mind engaged with Working Word to co-create a campaign with young people which could lobby key decision-makers for change.

Objectives

  • Centre young people’s voices in a campaign to improve the transition from SCAMHS to AMHS through successfully lobbying key decision-makers for change.
  • Establish Mind Cymru as a campaigning organisation on young people’s mental health issues.
  • Grow the number of young people engaged in Mind’s campaigning work.
