Working Word is committed to understanding modern slavery risks and ensuring there is no modern slavery in our business or within our supply chains and sub-contractors.
We have 25 employees based in one location. Our staff are largely directly employed and are generally not in any category which is seen to be vulnerable to modern slavery or people trafficking in this country.
Working Word uses a range of suppliers who supply goods, services and people to help us deliver the work we do. These include freelance camera people and photographers, translators and events specialists. All suppliers are accredited and checked via a supplier due diligence form in order to prevent or identify unethical practices.
This statement has been formally approved by the board of directors at Working Word who are committed to monitoring and improving practices in this area.
