2. Big Ideas Wales entrepreneur making school cool

Meet Caitlyn Jones, the 25-year-old mother of two from Swansea who is preparing for a busy back to school period, thanks to her business supplying personalised gifts. At the end of November last year, Caitlyn launched Three Little Birdies, which specialises in seasonal ranges of bespoke products. Her Back-to-School range features personalised rucksacks with the option of choosing colourways and personalising both motif and child’s name. Our client Big Ideas Wales has supported her launch and we shared her story with Swansea Bay News and News From Wales.

4. PestSmart gardening hacks with @NaomiGrows

As autumn slowly approaches and more damp weather is likely to be on the way, plants can be at risk of developing powdery mildew. Instead of using pesticides, PestSmart ambassador and S4C gardener, Naomi Saunders has opted for a natural milk spray to combat this plant disease, sharing her tips on her Instagram. The seasoned gardener was also on hand with the PestSmart team at last week’s Anglesey show where she gave advice to the public and answered online questions. Check out the milk spray in action and the Q&A on @dwrcymruwelshwater and Naomi’s Instagram pages and keep your eyes peeled for more this weekend in the Western Mail.

5. Working Word’s Perfect Prints

From our personal images of dogs, to travel pictures and classic Coke cans, we had the best time learning the process behind the Riso printer and indulging our artistic side.
