1. Nothing stops Coleg y Cymoedd learner Teigan achieving her career goals
Two weeks ago, our team was on hand at Coleg y Cymoedd to share the inspiring stories of A-level and vocational students receiving their results. One story that stood out was Teigan Griffiths, a 19-year-old aspiring police officer from Gilfach Goch who spent two years in and out of hospital while studying for her A-levels due to severe bowel problems and life-threatening sepsis. After having a stoma bag fitted in spring 2023, Teigan has fought hard towards her dream career, picking up an A* and three As. Keen to raise awareness of stoma bags and highlight how they don’t have to change your life or goals, we shared Teigan’s story with Wales Online which you can see here.
2. Collabing our way along the Wales Coast Path
870miles of coastline, cliffs, and sweeping bays + the only country-long coast path in the world = travel influncer hotspot. We’ve been working with travel influencers across the UK who love Wales as much as we do to share their coast path adventures on social media on behalf of our client, Wales Coast Path and National Trails. Our team of ambassadors have been busy this summer, hiking all regions of Wales, from Rhossili and Tenby to Cardigan Bay and the Isle of Anglesey, and collaborating with Wales Coast Path on Instagram to showcase the best routes, beauty spots and hidden gems that lie along the magical coastline of Cymru. Check out this shot from @alexbowdensphotography.
3. Showcasing Carmarthenshire’s outdoor gems
This summer, we teamed up with Discover Carmarthenshire to bring the thrill of outdoor adventures to a wider audience. Our targeted digital ad campaigns on YouTube and the Google Display Network shone a spotlight on the county’s stunning walking routes and exciting cycling options. We launched two distinct campaigns: one showcasing scenic walking trails and another highlighting the best in road cycling and mountain biking. To maximise impact, we targeted our ads on individuals near the Welsh border and those in southeast Wales, ideal for a quick getaway. The results were impressive: over 1m impressions and more than 10,000 clicks to the Discover Carmarthenshire website, with a cost-per-click of just £0.27.
4. Boosting Bridgend’s Numeracy
We’ve launched a dynamic digital campaign for Bridgend Council, spotlighting Multiply—a UK Government-funded programme designed to elevate maths skills across the community. Now live on Google Display, Google AdWords, YouTube, and Meta, our campaign encourages Bridgend adults to enhance their career prospects, manage finances, and support their children’s education by signing up for free courses. We’ve crafted three targeted films to resonate with specific audiences: adults aiming for a Maths GCSE or industry-specific qualifications, those seeking better money management, and parents eager to support their children’s maths. By tailoring each film to these distinct groups, we’re able to connect directly with them, boosting engagement and driving better results.
